Just wanted to introduce a touching and impressive Hindi Movie to all of you.
I must admit that i teared when I watched the movie. It really 'touched your heart'.
It teaches one to identify the ability and not the disability in children with special needs. Everyone is unique in their own way(:

Title of the movie : Taare Zameen Par ( Every child is special)
It"s about a boy with dyslexia and no one knows that he was a exceptional child until he met this teacher who changed his life. Everyone labelled him as stupid, naughty and idiot. His eyes was crying for help but no one was there to save him.

First post of 2012! (:

My first post for 2012! It's February already! January passed by without knowing. 2011 had been a fruitful year! May 2012 be an interesting and exciting year too, lots of new discoveries for me to go and explore! Made many new friends and colleagues in 2011, what's so great was that, they're all nice people! There are still many many good souls around!(: Give and Take - essence to maintaining any relationship :D Not forgetting my friends who are always there, may we have more meet ups and gatherings!

Most importantly, my family! Although, CNY this year was a bit boring but I witnessed what's the true meaning of kinship and the bond between one another could be brought closer due to an incident. It's through those 'incidents' that we feel and get 'touched' by another person/people that you want to 'build' and 'mantain' your relationship with that person/people. (:

Passion is the intrinsic motivation that push you to go further :D

Have you heard of Tangram before? Tangram is an ancient chinese puzzle game with endless pattern formations! It is made up of 7 pieces and the word "Tangram" is also made up of seven letters! hehe! Such an interesting invention! :D haha! What's more is that there's no right or wrong in this game! It's all up to your creativity!

I only get to know about this "toy/game" recently! My colleague introduced this game to me, thanks a lot!! (: Kind of like it very much! I'm using it for my assignment for my play module! To prove that it is appropriate for children aged 6 and below, I get my cousin to help me to play this game! (: I'm impressed, she was able to construct designs which I didnt even know how to construct out of the 7 pieces of puzzle! (; Clapssss!!! Never underestimate a child! 

hehe! i also tried playing with it and during my first attempt, i constructed a kangaroo! After a while, when i tried to construct a kangaroo again, i couldn't do it -.-"!

Children nowadays are too tied down by assignments, workbooks, worksheets! But the truth is that, children learn through play, meaningful play! It is through meaning play that they understand mathematical concepts by themselves and this will build a strong foundation in their primary school education! haha! no wonder children or even adults Hate Math in sch, because mathematical concepts are ''drilled into their brain by force"!

It's taking too long for the tangram to be delivered to my house and thus, i tried making it by myself! phew! luckily, I managed to do it!

Today is the first lesson for a brand new module!(: - learning through play in children. Kind of like this module even before i attend it today, because somehow or somewhat i can anticipate that it will be a very interesting and "wow" module! What makes me more "WOW" was when I saw the lecturer today!

I like the way she speaks, the way she present herself and also the way she carry out her lesson! I can guarantee that for her 13 sessions, i will not fall asleep! I love her humorous, dramatic and fun personality and not forgetting her VOICE! (: what's more is that she has that X-FACTOR in her that draws people's attention to whatever she says, it sounds a bit exaggerating though, but it's pretty true (:

Lesson learnt - be dramatic and exaggerating so that you will be able to attract the attention of the preschoolers. haha! :D Not easy ~

Knowing that he's leaving for good to go back to his country tmr makes me so sad.. heart ache,heart ache, heart ache!!! though i expect foreigners like him to leave anytime but didn't expect it to be so fast! My little sweetheart! ): He's such a sweet and adorable boy! Can''t see him anymore.. ))))): THAT"S REALLY SAD!

Time flies, he's been with me for nearly 9 months, being able to witness his progression gives me a sense of achievement and happiness!!(: i'm proud of him, he started off with "dunno" until "he knows"! HE"S MY SUNSHINE! tell me, how could i not miss him?!

SAD. SAD. SAD. feelings for him is too strong! )))): NOT GOOD!

haha! it's the pair of innocent eyes and actions that they do that makes you forget all your frustrations that they did to you! MUAHAHA! you can't help but let out a smile and last of all fall in love with them! haha!

Seriously, they are super hilarious!(: glad to know that the "fire" in me is still burning and guess what?! it's already 1 year 1 mth! time really flies!

Is it true that a very optimistic person can really change a very pessimistic person!? haha! but i know something, i cannot stand someone who is very pessimistic! one who always perceive things so negatively! It turns me off! haha! :P Coz life gonna be very harsh and tough if you were to be like this! Strive a balance! i know it's not easy but it's always good to try!(: If you never try, you will never know.

Using Physics to crack cases. haha! didn't know Physics can be so interesting. :D

what happens when someone is too good to you? You know that they do not have any other motives or intentions. Still, you will feel a bit weird but isn't that a natural instinct to have this kind of thoughts. When someone is nice to you, of course you will be nice to that person back unless you don't like that person. haha. it's a two-way thing. :D

haha, i think the kind of environment we grew up from, the people we interact with and the culture we are exposed to, played an important factor in moulding us to who we are now. Isn't this quite true to a certain extent? (:

I felt that ever since i started working, i changed my perspectives about life, in a good way! haha! self-reflect, accepting criticisms and listening to advices and recommendations are ways of self-improvement. sometimes one need to listen in order learn, not everyone is fond of being a listener, but it's important to have a balance of it. too little and too much isn't good (:

Today turned out to be a sad sad day for me!!! extremely sad! knowing the fact that he's leaving by this week but was not prepared that today will be his last day instead of tmr! different emotions came " gushing" into my mind when i heard his daddy says " today will be his last day"..... what's heartwarming is that another friend hugged him and said good bye! ))))):

waaaaaaa!!!!!!!! super sad! unconsciously and uncontrollably, tears rolled down my cheek when he left the school!!! heart ache! i didn't expect it! ): since when did i become so emotional..i cant stand those farewell situations... but something happy is that i get to say goodbye and to hug him! ): * stop crying please.... quick, someone please tell me a joke to make me laugh!

time flies, he's been with me for more than 6 mths and more than 8 hours a day! he's such a lovable and adorable boy! he's like a chatterbox talking all day long! without him,i cant imagine how quiet the class will be! i will definitely miss him! miss his cheerfulness and bubbly personality! tell me, how could i not miss him!!!! )))))):

HAHAHA!!!! i crave for Marigold Peel Fresh Orange Juice everyday!! (: didn't know i like to drink orange juice so much and specifically Marigold Peel Fresh brand. hehe..
